About Me
Driven by curiosity, guided by discipline, trusted for reliability. These are the qualities that have shaped my academic journey, leadership roles, and career aspirations.
My interest lies in maritime and energy systems. The maritime industry is not only essential for Singapore's development, but also the backbone of multiple industries through energy resilience and economic stability.
Though we have developed far past the idea of a 'fishing village', it doesn't change the fact that our roots stem from maritime through trade. Understanding where we came from shapes how I think about where we're going.
In order to enjoy the world we live in, we must be stewards for the next generation. A majority of the world still uses fuels to power its machinery - gas, diesel, and HFO (Heavy Fuel Oils). Renewables such as wind, solar, and tidal energy could supplement and eventually replace these.
To bring a better tomorrow, we must act now - plant the seed which grows into a tree for the next generation.
Beyond the technical, I am someone who believes in service - whether that's coaching underprivileged children, leading overseas service learning trips, or mobilising peers to volunteer. Leadership, for me, is measured not in titles but in the tangible difference made to those around you.
